EMA provided MEP design and construction administration to help deliver a campus that reflects the spirit of innovation, leadership, and community at the heart of this project.
Funded by the 2020 Bond Program, the $80 million replacement campus was designed with innovation and tradition in mind. Serving 800–900 students, the two-story building is filled with collaborative maker spaces, state-of-the-art learning areas, and community-focused common spaces. From the auditorium to the competitive gym, every detail supports learning and student voice.
The academy’s signature feature, the chamber, provides a one-of-a-kind instructional space for students to public speaking, and leadership. This campus honors Congressman John Lewis, a civil rights icon whose legacy continues to inspire unity.
