Dialysis Access Surgery Center

EMA delivered MEP engineering and consulting services for the $3.5M conversion of a 7,500-squre-foot office building into a specialized ambulatory surgery center for renal procedures. The project included two operating rooms, new medical gas systems, and a fire sprinkler line brought to the building. Site and space limitations required creative solutions, including a new yard for HVAC units, AHJ-approved natural gas generators, and carefully coordinated humidifier placement due to the ORs’ location along the exterior wall. New electrical rooms and equipment upgrades were also integrated to ensure compliance and long-term reliability.
