For the City of Dallas, EMA served as the registered third-party provider on the newest Metrocare facility, helping the team navigate IECC 2021 energy code compliance and providing sustainability guidance toward LEED Gold certification.
This work included reviewing design documents and energy models, collaborating with the design and construction teams, and helping shape strategies that boost energy efficiency and long-term performance.
This new development features a 45,000 square foot clinic that serves children, teens, and adults with mental health and intellectual and developmental disabilities. It also includes a 93,000 square foot Client Services Building, home to the Altshuler Center for Education and Research, North Texas’ premier training and research hub for mental health professionals.
